Salesforce’s 2022 Global Digital Skills Index states that more than half of workers in large companies are seeking to develop new skills to complement their professional activity. Workers want to learn to improve their professional career.<\/p>\n
The professional digital skills that companies currently value the most are those related to: digital marketing, collaboration technologies, digital administration, project management technologies and electronic commerce<\/p>\n
The importance of these skills in the current market has been generated due to the accelerated digital transformation, which causes a greater commitment to remote work and digital commerce.<\/p>\n
Mexicans dominate collaboration technologies and digital administration, in the rest of the digital skills professionals are only beginners according to companies. Artificial intelligence and green economy skills lag the most.<\/p>\n
Most of these skills are not yet found in the school curriculum, increasing the need for companies to consider educational programs and focus more on competencies that are developed in practice.<\/p>\n
About 31% of Gen Z feel ready for a digital job. This generation is the first digital native generation and the use of digital applications and tools is natural. However, not many of this generation have advanced digital skills.<\/p>\n
A report indicates that the world is going through a digital skills crisis. Although the workforce is aware of the development of these skills, most lack this training.<\/p>\n
A few years ago, companies hired new profiles based on skills.
